Education Development Center (EDC) is a global nonprofit that advances lasting solutions to improve education, promote health, and expand economic opportunity. Since 1958, they have been a leader in designing, implementing, and evaluating powerful and innovative programs in more than 80 countries around the world.

EDC has a long history of innovation, with numerous projects that seek to transform education to help people succeed in school, work, and life in a data-intensive world.

Our Work

Since 2019, EDC has leveraged StyleMatters design and editing expertise on a variety of resources they’ve developed for US government sponsors. StyleMatters has brought to bear on these projects a unique group of highly qualified graphic designers, copyeditors, research fact-checkers, and others to finalize nearly 100 different products for use by social workers and other practitioners in the field across the U.S. This ongoing collaboration continues to expand across product types, including research papers, educational materials, web content, toolkits, presentations, and more.
