Happened upon a couple of interesting reads this week to strengthen and enrich your writing. Here’s a few favorites:
- Yahoo’s “7 Bonus Grammar ‘Errors’ You Don’t Need to Worry About” – I don’t agree with ALL of them, but a little history of grammar and the English language is always a good way to strengthen your writing
- Grammar Girl’s “The Oxford Comma, In Pictures” – An excellent overview of the whens and whys you need an Oxford comma
- BuzzFeed’s “The Wrong Definition of ‘Literally’ is LITERALLY Going Into the Dictionary” – A gif-rich analysis of LITERALLY as emphasis
- John McIntyre’s “Too Damn Literal” – A well-reasoned response to BuzzFeed’s article above
